October's bright sunshine, soft sunrise, and delicate
sunset welcomed Bisti photographers!
For introduction, our first evening invited warm
sunset colors in the many surreal buff colored Hoodoos on the Bisti's south
side. After morning shots at Shiprock's
dike, golden colored evening shots entertained us near the Sevens' Hoodoo
locale east of MoonRise
Basin. Finally, sunrise shots invited us into
Glurch's Gulch and around the Medieval
Castle.
With some estimated 3000 images captured, ranging from
texture, to form, to sepulchral Magic Hour hoodoo, each photographer sought
their own special meaning and deep delight in the persuasive mystique of the
Bisti...

wilderness, ancient Anasazi country, is the perfect
time to experience crisp weather, fantastic Hoodoos, brilliant colors, surreal
shapes, superb enchantment of dawn and dusk light, and various digital photography
challenges.

and November with delicious days and gorgeous photo opportunities.
For Intermediate Photographers, we take them to see
all of the Hoodoos. For Advanced
Photographers, we add the superb delight of brilliant moon rising, composing sunset's
